Another top option for a number of gifts this Christmas is the fairly recent High Street addition – Open. With plenty of great pieces at great prices it was hard to choose a selection to share with you, but we went for a top 10 of Winter warmers in the hope that you can find a few inspiring pieces to make this Christmas for yourself or a loved one. To do this we’ve picked a couple of hats, scarves, gloves, coats and boots that will definitively do the job through the current cold snap and beyond.
So take a look below as we go through our chosen garments 2 by 2 and share ideas of gifts for you!
Hats
Pickering Knitted Hat (£10.00)
This patterned piece boasts contrasting coloured patterns with snowball stylings and boasts a big bobble at the top. Available in grey or cream this acrylic hat is finished with an Open logo tab.
A bit more reserved than the previous bobble the Open Portland Knit Hat has an understated look but with a mesmerising knitted pattern that will keep you looking ahead of the game.
Scarves
Another simply grey styling, the first of our two scarf picks features a neat cable knit pattern and is a perfect bit of neckwear for the next few months.
Saltern Knitted Scarf (£10.00)
Our second scarf pick is Open to debate, but if you like a scarf to be a colourful creation this multi-coloured knitted scarf featuring fringed edges is a steal at £10.00.
Gloves
Rosslyn Knitted Gloves (£6.00)
It’s always handy to have a good pair of gloves and the Rosslyn knitted ski gloves do the job perfectly. An attached Open logo tab brings a touch of class to proceedings whether you go for these in grey or black.
Riverdale Leather Gloves (£14.00)
A pair of leather gloves with a legendary look and grey synthetic wool trims and cuffs. These serious gloves feature adjustable straps to fit to keep them in place. Great to compliment a big beast of a coat or to match with somer of the other grey options above.
Coats
Available in deep red or pewter grey, and just as good in both colours, the River Parka Jacket really is a winter warmer. Loaded with plenty of pockets, a faux fur lined hood and a heavy duty zip, it’s a comfortable coat that will help hold in the heat whilst keeping you looking cool.
The Archer Jacket is slightly more streamlined than the River Parka but will still keep you warm this winter. The fully lined hood gives your head another layer of protection against the cold and wet, and a crisp colour contrast between the red and navy blue sections help to make this a great jacket.
Boots
A classic brown leather effect boot resting on a stand out white sole. The Thames Wing Boot would make a powerful addition to anyones shoe game.
These are a pair of boots that will seriously stamp your authority on the style game. Another stand out white sole is the base for a next level pair of boots. These beauties are made with a leather effect upper that boasts brogue detailing gold eyelets and a fabric feature at the top that all meld together to bring a street smart look to your outfit.
As well as plenty of great options for winter wear they also have a number of great tees, shirts and denim options that we feel are worth an honourable mention, and show that this new kid on the block is quite clearly open for business!
